Not sure what algae are u talking about (can't really spot it on the picture) but amano shrimp eat virtually any kind (including hair and black beard algae)
Not sure what you are talking about, it looks like regular java moss to me. Java moss is normally frilly like that if that's what you think is an algae growing on it.
