Could a betta fish survive a six foot fall to concrete floor

I just got my betta fish and I totally dropped it once I got it onto my garage floor .. it was in a plastic bag from a pet store with like three inches of water? Or less .. It's doing okay but I wanna know if there will be any complications .... HELP!
If it was in water, the water could have easily cushioned its fall. But just be watching it all the same.
i had two of my guppies jump out of the water they were in while i was cleaning their tank and one was accitendtly stepped on !!!!!!! They are pretty hardy:) So i think it is a definite yes especially if he was still in his bag. BTW they are doing just fine and are swimming around right now.
It just depends how close it was to the bottom, but usually bettas will stay at the top of whatever water their in, so i assume he will be fine from the cushioning of the bag. just check to see if there is any visible damage to him.
I know somebody who has dropped their betta too and he turned out to be okay. But some bettas are stronger than others, so your betta may or may not make it. But if he seems to be doing okay, then I think that he will make it.
It should be ok since your saying its fine. Just be careful next time and love your betta .. mine died of dropsy and i had it for 2 yrs. Just watch it and I think it's fine.:)
nothing bad is going to happen. just leave him alone for him to lower his stress level. he will be ok
Survive, probably . pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

It would have done it no good, but it will probably survive.

i would think so but if he seems ok then just add some stress enzymes or aquarium salt and the lil guy should be find.hope hes ok:)
I very much doubt it ... if it landed on a concrete floor it's gill would be damaged.
