are they peaceful? How do you take care of them?
Usually only one Dwarf gourami in can be in a aquarium (small aquariums, 10-20 gallons). For sure only one male. If you have a 25 gallons you could get 1-2 female, with a male. a 20 gallon will work for a pair.
If the Dwarf Gouramis have been alone to claim the territory, it wont work. They do not like trespassers. It is best to add guppies first, then the dwarf gouramis. There is a small chance they may nip and tear at the male guppies fins . Female guppies will have a better chance at getting along with them. A 30 gallon will be perfect for 3-4 Dwarf Gouramis and 6-10 guppies.
