Ahh its so sad: (I have three guppies and they are my little buddies also! What you are describing are signs of ick manefesting. Its probrably starting in his gills and will probrably spread to the rest of the body if you let it progress. If the ick is just starting to show then they are probrably in the baby stage and this is when you can treat it. Raise the temperature in the water to 75-80 degrees for about four to five days and that should kill the ick. If you lower the temp to 60 degrees then it could take weeks or longer. If there are more fish you would want to take the affected fish out and put him in a quaritine tank and treat the water. This website should help. It goe into more details. hope this helps and that he will get better !!!!! pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

DONT WORRY I actually just the other day purchased medicine for my fish from petsmart called Maracide which treats both Ick, Velvet, and any other external diseases your fish may have, and after a week of treating he should be back to normal:)
im not sure but that sounds like ich. cure it by increasing the water temperature 3 degrees higher for 3 days, or less. it will go away. if not try aquarium salt.
