I was wondering if these fish would do ok together.
3 zebra danios
2 pygmy cory catfish
1 guppy
1 very small bluegill (just until it gets big enough to be with the fish in the bigger tank)
That seems like a great community tank!! The danios are really hardy fish and will live a long time. I would suggest getting the long finned zebra danios because they are alot nicer looking but its really up to you!! the cory cats will do good in this tank because they are hardy and like other peaceful tankmates. just make sure you change the water and dont let the amonia spike to high. Now with the guppy i would not suggest getting just one because they are schooling fish and like to be with others of there kind and could die of lonleyness. i would get 2 males because they are prettier but if you do get a female be prepared for up to 50 babies a month!!! and the bluegill should be fine: D
good luck!! hope this helped
No, there are a few problems. Zebra dianos need groups of at least 5, and a tank of at least 20 gallons. Guppies should be kept in groups of 3. Cory's need to be in groups of 6.

3 guppies
3 ghost shrimp (to clean)
1 very small bluegill that can be replaced with a dwarf/pearl/honey gourmai when it leaves the tank.
Any more than that and you risk being over stocked. Go to this site to check stocking ideas for your size tank and filtration.

Lol, long link ^
danios are best kept in groups of 6 or more or they turn fin nippers and they do need more room because they are very active. Cory cats need to be in groups of minimum 4.
I would say get a 4 male guppies and 4 pygmy cories. OR maybe a betta and 6 neon tetras. Or 8-10 neon tetras or 3 male guppies and 6 neon tetras.
Make sure to cycle your tank before getting any fish
