URGENT! My Black Moor Is Really Ill!?

Okay, so for the past cople of days he's just been flating around the tank, not swimming, he'll just float in one spot and do nothing for minutes at a time, today i did my first water chage (25%) (i got them on Tuesday) and he still is no better, today after the water change i fed him and his tankmate some peas and broccoli, but he is now just sitting at the bottom of the tank.

He's also been darting around rapidly aswell today, but ive only seen him do this a couple of times, and only for about secs each. His tank-mate a Calico Fantail seems to be fine though.

ive just done another 10% water change. so i hope this peeks him up a bit

What is wrong with him?

He dosnt have ick, and he can swim physically fine (when hes not darting)

And his tankmate is fine too.

What should i do!

I really dont want him to die: (
How big is the tank? If it is too small, that could be why. Another reason could be that he got hurt, so check his fins and gills and if you see any redness or tearing, get some Melafix. You can get that at a local pet store, and its like 6 dollars but it is worth it. That should treat him if he has any wounds. Read the directions, its very simple. I just put some in my tank today because my gold fantail, Goldy, has a ripped fin.):

All the luck to you. :-)
If ur not using a heater thats good this fish is in the same family as the common gold fish and must be kept at cool to room temps so it sounds like he is dieing but it could also be that the fish has something else going wrong dose it have any white patches on its gills this could be a parasite if the white patches are on his body it is a fungal infection there is one trick with these fish sometimes they stay still cause they are boord or in need of a fish of the same type they are a grigarious type of fish this means they do better in pairs i have gold fish to and they enjoy company they would other wise die without another like humans they thrive best in pairs also if u are using city water u must declourinate it first and try to keep the replacement water at the same temp as the tank water for the gill parasites and the fugal things another thing u can do to get rid of them is to put some copper pennies ones that are dated before 1982 the copper must stay in the water for two weeks without the carbon filter the pennies when exposed to water will oxidize and heal the fish then take out the pennies after two weeks put about five pennies to every five gallons of water but try buying another fish but if u see the other things i described try the pennies and always remember two of the same type is always best best of luck pitycorps out
