It is clinging to the leaves of my plants so I don't know if it is coming from it or from something else in the tank. It looks like it is on the side of my tank also but it is mostly on the decorations. It is more clear than white and sometimes breaks off to float around in the tank before I take it out. Could this be a fungus or is my tank some how dirty? This is a cycling tank, it is in the nitrite phase right now. This slime's been in the tank for about a few days now. Was in there for even the ammonia phase o__o Anyone know what this could be?

http://freshaquarium.about.com/cs/mainte ... but it could be some sort of forign contaminent, if it is you might have to remove all the water, and clean the whole tank out, and restart from scratch.
