which cold water fishes are easy to breed?

im looking for small fishes preferably cause i have a small tank. are there any that dont need such perfect conditions ect ect, give me all the info you can thanks
White Cloud Minnows.

They can tolerate a wide range of temperate (5-25C), are small (a little over 1 "), quite pretty, and can live in a tank as small as 5gal, although you will want bigger if you intend to breed them.

They are easy to breed if you keep the water conditions good and have lots of plants. No special care really, just leave them too it. They are egg scatterers, but generally don't eat their eggs and fry.

If you have a small tank then breeding isn't going to work! To breed fish you need a lot of space and ideally several tanks.

FYI Bettas and Guppies are really tropical fish, not coldwater, they won't breed properly in cool temperatures. Sub-tropical fish like Zebra Danios and White Cloud Mountain Minnows need at least a 15-20 gallon tank anyway, and to breed these egg layers you'd need several tanks!

Breeding fish requires a lot more space than a "small tank"!!
The three easiest and most popular cold water fish to breed are Bettas, White Cloud mountain minnows, and Weather Loaches. All these will breed when less than a year old. If you are going to breed White Clouds, you should separate the sexes for 2-3 weeks, then they have much larger spawns. Dojo Loaches will breed at 50 degrees, but not as easily.

Tthe males have triangular fins, the females round. They lay red adhesive eggs.

Guppies are tropical fish and should have a heater although they are no doubt among the easiest to breed.
Guppies are NOT coldwater fish so don't even try. Goldfish and zebra danios are both possible to breed. All fish except livebearers need perfect conditions to breed. here is a good website on breeding goldfish:

guppies breed like no tomorrow if you have like 10 you will have 50 in a week .. if you get them have a 1/3 ratio of males to females.
