Which fish should be used to cycle a tank?

The Angel fish, Red Fin Tetra, Goldfish [heard it not recommended], Red banded fish, or a red eared turtle?
Do a fishless cycle.

If you really want to do fish cycle (which i don't recommend) none of those fish will work. Also it is not advisable to keep a turtle with fish.
Of those 3 a goldfish, they are the most hardy and can tolerate dirty water conditions, a better fish is a pleco though. the chlorine can still hurt a goldfishes gills, wait 24-48 hours before ading any fish so the chlorine can evaporate
If you have a tropical tank with a heater you can't add Goldfish. Make you mind up if its going to be tropical or not. Buy 2 or 3 small inexpensive fish, definitely not Angel Fish.
you want fish big enough that they will produce ammonia, but not something you wont wanna keep if it lives.

dont do goldfish unless your making a Goldfish tank. You cant mix them with tropical fish
I personally do a fish less cycle because I don't want to risk the fish dieing. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
