Where does fish poop go???

I was thinking whr did the fish poop go, when it drops on the floor/sucked up in the filter does it goes

Poop> Dissolves> ammonia> gets eaten up by good bacteria?

or

Poop> stays> produce ammonia> ammonia poop still stays thr
This question was asked earlier this year. The poop goes down to the bottom and the gravel. Part of it is disposed in water changes . the rest is transformed by good bacteria into ammonia. the ammonia is transformed by a second set of bacteria into nitrites. the nitrates are changed by a third set of bacteria into largely harmless nitrate.
An interesting question. Both are partially correct . As the feces rots, it will produce ammonia which will be eaten by nitrification bacteria. But there are other bacteria that decompose waste matter. These will decompose it to simpler things, chemically and dissolve in the water or stay on the gravel. These will then be sucked up by plants and algae as they are rich in nutrients, or taken out of the tank during water changes.
if the tank is cycled then the bacteria should eat up the ammonia produced, but no, it doesnt dissolve quite all the way:). after a while it would probably dissolve all the way though. id say it would be the bottom one
hahahaha. This question made me laugh lol. I think that everything you said is true. Some gets sucked into the filter. Some becomes ammonia and either gets consumed by bacteria or it remains in the water.
The poop sinks onto the gravel, or gets sucked into the filter. The bacteria break it down before it becomes ammonia.
It does dissolve a little, sort of like your first one, but not all the way. That's why you need to vacuum the bottom of the tank.
it evaporates into air and you breath it in
