What are good tank mates for a red tailed shark?

Okay, I really want a red tailed shark (only one because they are aggressive to others). But my mom said if we get a big tank it has to have at least 2 other fish in there. What are some fish I can put in there with the shark that he/she won't eat? the tank will be at least 15 gal.
other semi agressive fish, the more you put in the tank the less they will f *** with other fish. I have tiger barbs and they leave every fish alone now that i have a school of 8, when there was 3 they nipped at other fish.

You can get any Community fish really, of equal size
Other similar sized semi-aggressive fish.

Gourami, peaceful cichlids, barbs, larger tetras, rainbow fish etc.

15gal is just not going to do. Around 55gal is the suggest minimum as they should grow to about 6 "long, and are quite an active fish. When you buy them they are just babies, and could live in a 15gal, but long term , MUCH more space will be needed. Any potential tank mates will also need more than the 15gal.

None as you cant keep a red tailed shark in 15 gallons 30 gallons minimum

They get around 6 "long and need a minimum of 30-35 US gallons, preferably over 55 US gallons.
