Help!! I have a betta fish & i need advice!?

I have both a male a female betta in 10 gallon tank. I'm tryna breed them and this is my first time. I just bought the female today and when i put her in the tank with the male .. he would chase her and show off his fins but all she does is swim away. I have a net breeder but when do i put them both in there and when do i take them out so they dont try to eat their young?? Why is she always swimming away from him? Also should i buy a tank heater?? Please help i'd appreciate it!:)
you should do alot more research. bettas can have hundreds of babies and you would need seperate tanks for all the males they produce and a big tank to house all the females together (they can live together). they need to be conditioned to each other, they should be fed something like bloodworms everyday. if the male is interested in the female he will build a bubble nest, the female will get (i think) vertical lines on her body when she is ready and she will be heavy with eggs.
STOP NOW!!

Breeding bettas is absolutely NOT that easy!! You must condition the pair for at least a couple of weeks before breeding. Be prepared to house hundreds of fry in separate containers. Find homes for all of the fish BEFORE you breed. A heater is MANDITORY , even if you're not breeding. Learn to take care of one fish before trying to bring hundreds more into the world!

I agree with the stop now, but likely it doesn't matter anyway, If you bought your bettas from a store they are likely too old to breed anyway.
