He's floating on his side, mouth moving open and close, and gills are moving. Should I help end he's pain by taking him out of the water or leave him in the water?! Please help.
Dying from lack of oxygen is a very desperate feeling. Don't do that to him. Just put him in extremely cold water. He'll die really fast. I'm sorry.
If you want to put him out of his misery then take him out and knock him on the head with a heavy object. Leaving him to gasp his last in the air is even more cruel than leaving him in the water. If ever my fish are suffering I take them out the tank, wrap them in kitchen paper towel , take them outside and squash their head with a heavy stone or brick, over in a second. Its sad but better than leaving it to suffer.
No, i think you should take him to the vet and have him put down! lol jk ... dont take him out of the water and let him die, he will just suffer. Let him die in peace, in the water where he belongs.
when my goldfish was dying i put him the in bathtub ( filled with water) becausew that was his favorite place to be and held him upright until he died ... he greatly appreciated that ... so let him spend his last somewhere he loves!
Kasia K has a great answer, by the way:)

This happened to my fish. I would personally leave him. If you take him out, he may suffer more. Good luck, MegzieB:)
i would leave him in the water .. taking him out would just make him suffer
Lol every fish does that, even if hes dying just let him be. did I just get troll'd?
