I was just wondering, because half gallon is too small for any animal, but do plants have restrictions like animals as in how much space and water they need? I'm growing it for the goldfish tank. How often do I need to change the water? Will the CO2 dissolving at the water surface be enough or do I need to get a bubbler?
They should be okay short-term, but when cared for properly, anacharis can grow inches per week. I would change the water once or twice a week. You may want to add a bubbler just for surface disturbance.
