Max size?
Aggression?
Tank requirements?
Pro's/Con's?
Do they tolerate any type of salinity to the water?
Do they need to be in a group or can I house one alone?
I saw some at my local pet store yesterday and they were only about 2 inches. Very cute and came right over to me. I was considering getting one, but decided to hold off till I know for sure I have the proper housing for one.
Max size - three inches.
Aggression - varies. Usually, they are really fun as are most apistogramma genus fish.
Tank requirements - rain forest-type tank. Heated, soft water, slightly acidic, no african cichlids unless you have a really cool kribensis.
Pros/Cons - very fun and intelligent. However, they are water sensitive. You must have low ammonia.
They do not do well in any type of salinity, because most South American rain forest amazon fish need no salt, freshwater even.
I would buy a few! They can be really fun.

But, if you have to ask these questions, my best advice to you is buy a few Bolivian rams. They are hardier, look similar, and have excellent personalities.
Good luck!
