i have a java fern i want to root on to a small 3x3 inch rock. how can i attach it?
Krazy glue gel ... i have used it to attach java fern to driftwood and i have used it to attach anubias to rocks ...
An easy way is to use rubber bands to hold the plants in place and take them off when you notice they are starting to root. See the link in the way they do it.
Get some kind of string.
They have cotton ones which decay over time.
Yarn, string, etc.
Then tie a part of the java fern down to the rock. Place in the tank. Then it will grow roots, and root itself:]
