Those are the dimensions of the tank.
I need a new hood because I'm scared of the one I have now.
One side went out 2 months ago [new bulbs didn't work, nothing worked.] And the other side started to flicker, then went out, and now no bulbs work in it. I want to get a good quality hood.
The tank is a 10 gallon tank, from AquaCulture.

If that doesn't work, go to where you got it from, and ask if they will replace it for you, or if they even can.

You should be able to go to your local pet store and they can order one with the right dimensions. If possible, try to get the same brand of hood as your tank as they tend to fit better. Also, take into consideration that the hood may fit differently if your tank has a plastic rim on it. You can often email questions to the manufacturers website. I like Hagen ones personally.
