Can i put zebra danios and bettas in the same tank?

If it is 15 + gallons yeah. Just know that the Danio's can become fin nippers when stressed. In a 10 gallon or below they will be stressed from lack of space ...
Honestly, it all depends on the temperament of each individual fish. Yes only a single male betta can be kept in each tank, but they make great community tank inhabitants. I've noticed that bettas personalities can vary hugely, so it really just depends on if his will mesh with the danios. I don't see why not. The general rule of thumb is that you should not pick fish that are too flashy, or long finned, and your betta should be fine. So put em together and keep a good eye on them but make sure you have a back up plan handy for if something does go wrong.
you can but there would be undesirable results. The danios, even if kept in a shoal have a tendency to nip fins which is bad for the betta. Danios are hyperactive and the betta is usually flaccid and the betta will be stressed. If you wish to keep other fish with bettas then go with some neon/cardinal tetras because they do not nip fins, they are peaceful and they are not hyperactive. Dont get other types of tetras as they are likely to nip fins.
It's not impossible, but you need to be careful.

The tank needs to be a decent size, stuffing them together in a 5 gal will probably end badly. The zebra danios will be stressed and the betta may be more aggressive.

In a bigger tank you can keep a decent school of danios, give the betta some tall plants it can use as cover and they should live in peace. I would suggest 15gal or bigger.

Zebra danios should be fine with a male betta. You can only put one male betta in a tank though.
I would not if I were you.
I was told not to put any other fish in with a betta. they are called chinese fighting fish and that is what they do
