i have a 1 gallon fish bowl with 2 28 cent gold fish and one

All of them are very small, I only plan on keeping them in this for a few weeks, no more than a month because I am in the process of getting a bigger tank. But is this ok for now?
So, the rule of thumb actually is that these particular fish need at least about a 29 gallon or larger tank size. Then once in this tank you should have about a gallon of space allotted for each inch of fish. The reason they need so much space is because the ammonia from their waste is usually what kills fish. If you are going to keep these little guys in such a small container I'd suggest changing out the water partially every other day and don't overfeed at all, this will expedite the degradation of your fish's health.

It's possible to do this for a very short period of time, but if they die don't be surprised: (Basically you're killing them slowly but if you're diligent in creating the bacteria cycle (there are products that will create this quickly) and do about a 1/4 to 1/3 water change every couple of days ... this isn't good either because it takes out the bacteria ... but you also need to dilute the bad stuff.
no, Gold fish grows to a foot long and actually suitable for ponds or very very large aquariums pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

No it's not OK.

You can probably keep them alive for a while by changing the water frequently (every day). But they need a MUCH bigger tank.

This is a 28 cent goldfish thats 18months old and has been cared for well.

That's the same fish as you are trying to keep in a 1gallon bowl.

Absolutely not those 2 goldfish that were 28 cents will get a foot long for those 3 fish you will need at least 40-55 gallon tank.
I think the rule of thumb is one gallon of water for every inch of fish, but as long as they seem healthy they should be alright for the time being.
