is there anything i would have at home tht fish would eat? i'll buy fish food but i dont have the transportation today so is there a subsitution?
i tried peas ans think they eat it because it was on a website but rly not sure???

They don't have to be fed everyday. Every other day is more than fine for most fish. So, unless its going to be a few days (like over 2-3), than I wouldn't stress over it. Herbivorous fish will eat peas, and carnivores fish will eat ... well ... other fish.
It depends on what type of fish you have, you could try very small pieces of meat if it's a fish that likes meat, mine does. You could try bread aswell.
Fish can go 10 days with out food if all you have done is run out do not worry get some tomo no need to substitute food with anything
they can go a week without food. best not to feed them at all. I starve my fish at least one day every week. Makes them live far longer.
