What is your favorite thing to watch your fish do?

I like watching my platys "ride the current" lol it's fun watching them swim against it and keep going in it and letting it push them again and again as if it was a water slide.

i like watching my zebra danios chase each other. it's like their playing tag.

i like watching my female betta take charge. i don't like fish being bullied, she doesn't bully them, and they are not afraid of her at all lol, but i think it is funny to see this pretty little girl act " ; tough "and guard the little bell she claimed. i just like her sassy-ness in general.

i just love watching my fish have their own personalities because they all do! even the platys differ from each other. one female is shy, one is obnoxious and follows everyone, it's hilarious! i also like to think it means they're happy and healthy. i feel like a dork, standing there just watching them.

What do you like watching your fish do?
Dont worry im pretty sure alot of people sit in front of their tanks and just watch because thats what i do sometimes when im bored. And the thing i like to see them do the most is when they go inside the caves/castles/logs and also when they play in the long air stone because they go near it and the bubbles make them go up then they swim down they just love swimming through the bbules and also when they chase each other its fun because when the male chases the female he wants to mate with her and she doesnt want to and swims away and hides in the caves/or logs or castle (whatever is in the tank) and then the male looses her and it seems like if he goes around the tank asking the other fish where she went and even the shrimp because he goes to them and stays there then leaves or nips at them i guess cus they dont know and he gets mad lol. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

then sometimes the female gets mad and fights back and then the male goes and hide and stays there like saying oh man i was so close.

its fun wacthing them and somtimes my mom tells me you dont ever get tired of watching them huh.

but i dont really care i do it because i love my fish and its fun because last time my platy jumped out the water and it looked like a whale when they come out the water because she went down then swam up fast and she breached out the water!
I love watching my male betta fish puff up at his reflection and try to attack it. But when he sees me, he forgets about his reflection and swims so that he's facing me, completely forgetting about attacking his reflection. I also like to watch him swim through his plant and swim in his hollow clay sculpture with lots of holes in it. He is so funny and I love him! <3
I love watching my fish swarm to eat. Especially when there are different types in the same tank and they're all doing their own thing to get the food.
i have a betta and i love watching him rest on his leaf bed. he looks so cool when he does it. my betta loves that betta leaf
Sometimes i plan on watching a movie and never get to it because im staring at my tanks, i love to watch my corydoras drag their little whiskers aloong the ground and then snatch up the little morsels, I also love watching the rest of fish have a feeding frenzy when i get home from work. I have a log that has little holes every where and they swim inside one side and come out the other and i think that is awesome to see, i also love to see them just cruise through my plants. I like see one of my mollies rip at the algae growing on my giant hair grass, it's almost like he likes to help me keep the tank clean and beautiful.
I have several saltwater fish and cichlids that will sort rocks! It is hilarious. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

My dragon wrasse (aka rock mover wrasse) will swim around, inspect different small rocks and pebbles, finally select one he likes, and then pick it up and move it into a sorted pile in the front of the tank! My yellow lab does the same thing in my Malawi tank!

I also like watching the fish play in the current. My danio are big fans of the current play. Seahorses are the same way!!!

I also like watching the fish "nest." Many of my breeders will "sweep" the sand with their tails and generally tidy up their breeding area before settling down and starting the next family;)
