I have a cichlid who seems very powerful and I want to teach him to jump out of his bowl. Any tips?
I don't think you should teach your fish to jump out of it's tank. It might jump out when your not looking. If your tank has a lid though you could try teaching it with food and definetly do not scare it out, you will hurt the poor thing.
You should first teach him to breathe air. If you do not think it is possible, I suppose you could always scare him out by letting a cat play with him, but that would be mean so I don't recommend it.
get some gold fish, dangel them over the tank, hold on to them , they will jump. my oscars did!
Pour in acid.
