What other fish can an angler fish be with in a 55gal tank?

I have a 55gal saltwater fish tank and i was thinking about adding an anglerfish but i am not sure what else i could put in there. I was thinking like a lionfish or a snowflake eel.
As long as neither can fit into each other's mouth, a lionfish is a OK choice that works in many cases. Be careful though as many anglers get rather large and will eat ANYTHING that can catch. I've seen one eat a baby bamboo shark (and the shark was much larger than the frogfish)! The lion might get surprised by the angler and sting it as well.

Also, fish like triggers or puffers will pick on the angler, so they are not great tankmates either.

I would not do an eel. They often cannot see when and would be in the territory of the angler. It could be fine, but one might happen on the other and then one might get eaten, depending on size and hunger levels of each fish .

In a frogfish/angler/scorpionfish tank it is best to stick to similar fish, and fish of similar size. You can also get damsels or even acclimate mollies to saltwater to have some action in the tank that also seconds as food for the angler.
go for lionfish! anglerfish aare no good!
