Okay, i walked in there to check on them and they were fighting i tapped on the glass and they stopped. Both goldfish. I went back in the room today and my fish is just lying there at the top of the water not moving. Hes dead.: (I look closer and at the bottom i see white stuff like guts Then i picked him up with the scooper and he was bleeding. No blood in the water though i dont want to flush him or anything i just dont know hwat to do because my mom is at work. Please help!

Goldfish are usually pretty peaceful towards one another, though the tank conditions can affect the behavior of the fish.
What are your water parameters?
What is your tank size?
Were the Goldfish the same size?
? Goldfish will eat an other fish that can fit into their mouth.
? When the tank is too small, the fish will become stressed out and can become aggressive to each other. Goldfish, depending on the species, can grow 6-12 inches. They should have a minimum tank size of 20 gallons.

It is important to understand why a fish died so you can correct the problem and make the tank safe for the other fish.
As for the fish, I would bury him in your backyard.

Be sure before buying your next fish in the spring that you don't let the tank freeze when winter comes around again. Also, you should have double filtration on your tank. If not, you're going to have to do plenty of water changes to keep the parameters safe. Goldfish are extremely messy fish and

Well, there isn't really anything you can do ... I would just go out back, dig a little hole and bury him ... sometimes one fish will kill another because he knows it is sick, so don ' t feel like you did anything wrong. Just something every fish owner should know, NEVER tap on the tank! It is very stressful to the fish :-)
