Goldfish compatibility..?
I got three goldfish, two inches each? I've had them for three-four months.
What would happen if I put about 10 baby goldfish in with them? The bowl is pretty big, so space doesn't really concern me. Just wondering if they'd fight or anything, with the older ones being bigger.
the baby fish are about an inch to an inch and a half.
it depends on what kind they are. go to the person that sold them to u and ask them what breeed they are
Don't do it and Goldfish don't belong in Bowls no matter how big the bowl is they need a tank that is cycled with a heavy duty filter
For the 3 you have you would be looking at 55 gallons moving onto 75 gallons upwards
Space should concern you, as should the bowl they are housed in, and the presumable lack of filtration.

Those baby Goldfish should grow to be over a foot long, and 3 will need a bare minimum of 125 gallons. These fish, if properly cared for, grow quickly, doubling their size every few months at least. In a cramped, unfiltered bowl, it is likely that they will die either from toxic water, stunting, or a combination of the two, within a couple months.
So no, you should not add any more fish. If a 30+ gallon aquarium isn't in your plans for the immediate future, and a 125+ gallon soon, I suggest that you either return your fish from whence they came, or find someone with a fish pond that can support some additions.
In the future, please research the basic needs of any fish or living creature before you bring them home.

Unless your bowl is 260 gallons, which I highly doubt, you really should be worried by space. Goldfish get huge and need at least 20 US gallons each. No kidding. They can get up to a foot long. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
You may not mean to, but by keeping them in a smaller bowl you are stunting their growth, which is cruel. Bowls are also hard to filter and goldfish produce massive amounts of ammonia, so by adding more you could well kill them all, as the ammonia build-up would very swiftly reach toxic levels and make them extremely sick. Please do not add any more goldfish. They belong in ponds or tanks.
