What else can I put in my fish bowl?
I just got my betta fish yesterday and it is in a 1 gallon bowl. (that's all i have room for.) The petco man said it was ok. It has rocks and a plastic coral/flower thing and my fish is swimming around. Is it happy or not? what else should i put in the tank to keep it from being bored? thanks

betas will do fine in confined spaces, if your really worried put in a little something he can hide in, some sort of tunnel or house . Fish love that!

NO fish should be kept in a bowl because:
1. Lack of oxygen
2. No Nitrogen Cycle
3. Ammonia builds up fast
4. No space to swim
Bettas should have at least a 5 gallon tank, filtered and heated. By putting it in a bowl, you are basically killing it very slowly and making it suffer.
