well i highly suggest creating a DIY sump, but since your new to saltwater aquarium i suggest canister filters.
the best canister filters i recommend are:

fluval

any canister filter created by these companies are the best of the best and are a decent price. you can get these at your local fish store. what i suggest is buying an filter thats takes on more gallons then what your aquarium is, for example i have a 75 gallon canister filter running on my 30 gallon aquarium. dont forget you also need a protein skimmer and a power head.
