yes..aswell far cheaper to run.

run a sponge and 2 packs of bio-max, no carbon needed. rinse in aquarium water every 2 weeks and replace every couple years..

cheap to run and very effective.

quiet filter aswell once the pump slimes up.


its the only filter i use on smaller tanks
yes, whisper filters work ok but start acting weird as they get older. You should get a aqua clear because they last a lot longer and are better for your fish if you follow the filter media changing instructions on the side of the box. :)
