How big does jackdempsey fry need to be before you can put in with larger fish?
about a month and a half ago my jack dempseys had some babys the parents and fry are separate from my other cichlids eg electrick yellow, peacocks, demensi was wondering when its ok to put in with these guys they are only about a 1cm big at the moment

Rating the aggression level of the main tank the electric yellows are by far the least aggressive. The Demasoni can be absolutely ferocious. Larger peacocks will eat them, adult dempseys will eat them when they are ready to have a new batch of fry. The electric yellows are the most mellow in the tank that you currently have setup. I would suggest that the fry be as close to that size of a fish or larger before put in the setup. The new fish should be given new territories to avoid fatal wars. That is the easiest way to explain how to do this.
