Hi there, I saw a mosquito like bug in my cats face and around the year, I cought it and disposed of it.
I think it looked like wings at the back, but all I can find is that cats have fleas, ticks or lice.
They are indoor cats, but one of them got out for a few minutes while the kids were playing in the backyard.
I am grossed out and have never had a problem like this before in the 13 years I have had cats. Even when one of them got outside regularly.
Please, let me know if you have seen this before or what is preferable, collars or vet bath?
I am worried the collars will make these things out of the cat and into my house.

hartz makes a break away flea collar. try not letting your cats out. it is dangerous out there for them.bugs,diseases,cars. just keep an eye on him and look through his fur to see if there are any more. good luck.
