Should i worry about my cat?
My cat that i got in November or so, has been hissing at the 2 new kittens we got... she hasnt gotten used to them for a couple weeks now. So i decided to put food and water in my room since she does'nt even like eating around them. i even put a little bed on my table for her to sleep. One time i saw her sleeping, so i pet her ear. She realised i did that and she got up, stretched and went over to the food dish and ate for 5 mintues, went back to her bed, napped for another 5 minutes then went back to her food dish... she kept doing that for some time. Should i be concerned?
answer: Like another answer said, she could be bored. Get her some cat toys, even if they're just the cheap little cat-nip filled mice. At least she'll have something to play with & get rid of all the boredom, that might be why she's just eating & sleeping.

With the kittens, she's just used to being "Queen-of-the-House", so she'll tend to not get along well with them until she learns that she has to share the house. It's normal with cats, they're just extremely territorial.

I've been around cats all my life & volunteer at a pet shelter.
Not really. She could be bored.
Cats need to be introduced a certain way. Even then it can take weeks or months for them to adjust.
give it time we brought a new kitten in our home with her mom and it took some time for our other cats to adjust. its a territorial thing but your cat will come around
