My cat sometimes pukes after she eats?
It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens maybe once a week or once every two weeks. She doesn't seems to be in distress before or after.
answer: Some cats bolt their food, (eat it too fast), eg: my sister's burmese origin cat is of a slightly nervous disposition and does this frequently but is otherwise ok. Keep an eye on your cat, if it becomes more frequent have a word with your vet, just to be on the safe side.
My cat did the same for awhile. He still does it but it's like twice a month. I think it's because they either are trying to get rid of a hairball but they throw up instead, are sick, or stressed. Or they're 'backed up'.
She could be sick, but sometimes it's because they aren't used to their food yet. If none of this seems true then you can switch to a different kind and maybe it will help.
she could be sick so if your really worried stop asking inexperienced people on yahoo and take her to the veteriarian's office pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
But my cats do it all the time
It could be from them eating to fast or it just not settlig right in her belly...
Mine does that too, she seems completely fine, sometimes even chase something of the middle of puking (gross I know... which probably means she s fine... just some indigestion of hair balls inside ..
Sounds like your cat is eating her food way too quickly without actually chewing it properly especially since it is only sick a couple of times a week - same goes for one of my cats.
she may be eating too fast. this can be prevented by elevating the food bowl.
Cats will be cats.
