I found a kitten a few months ago who was around 6 weeks old, She's around 4 or 5 months now. She was all black, except a little line, that almost look like a scar of silver or white above one of her eyes.. Now the tips of her fur are turning silver and white, espescially on her back & tail.. What's going on? Does anyone know? Is it normal for cats to change color like this dramatically? I know some other animals do, but she was pitch black before.

She could be a breed that changes colors. Several do, providing she is healthy. She sounds beautiful!

Take her to a vet for her shots and deworming. He will be able to give an idea about the color change. I have seen black cats get a reddish color to their hair, usually from the sun.

One of my kittens was born black. Now she's got a black face, white and silver hairs coming out of her ears, a rich brown patch slightly left of center of her chest, dark cream paws, and red, black and brown bands all over. Her underbelly has dark cream and gray hairs. So I wouldn't worry. I thought she was gonna be pitch black until she started getting bands of gray around her back quarters. Then I thought she was gonna be stripy gray like her mom. But the bands stayed wide, wider than stripes, and her paws changed color completely. Her name is Ash so it still fits, thank heaven.

She is maturing.
We had a cat (from a friend) and when the cat was a baby she was all black but now she is 10 years old and has white under her legs (like her armpits) her chect and above her eyes like her eyebrows.

I had rescued a baby tan tabby (5 weeks old and he is now a dark mocha/brown color (he is 6 years old.)

I'm not sure...a cat's fur can change a bit, but I don't know how drastic this change is. If the fur is otherwise healthy, I don't see why it would be an issue.
A vet visit wouldn't be a bad idea, because your kitten will need to get it's shots anyway.

Lol mabye shes part dalmation! just kidding but yeah my white cat zero used to be all brown it was freaky! some animals do change colors and grow stripes and spots just like a human babys hair changes color over the course of its first year

Well with some kittens they will be black when they are born but then turn brown or white. She should be fine I dont think there is anything wrong with her. She'll be fine I wouldnt worry about it :)
