How can I get my vet take responsibility for my cats anesthesia fee?
Long story short - my cat's front canine was abscessed and had to be removed about 3 weeks ago.
I had another cat that had to go under for routine surgery 6 months ago, and did not make it through, so when I found out Nico had to go under I was nothing short of a mess.
In order to lower the chances of Nico having to go through this again, I asked that the Vet take out any and ALL teeth that would cause future complication. He had a total of 3 teeth removed, including his 2 top canines.
Everything went well, but I noticed about a week after surgery, that his 2 bottom canines were now puncturing his upper lip (they are very long and pretty sharp), since he now has a major under bite since his uppers have been removed.
My question is - shouldn't this have been taken into consideration by the Doctor who performed the surgery in the first place?

I brought him back last Friday, and they have me another $550 estimate which includes more hospitalization and anesthesia fees.
I feel that I shouldn’t only have to pay for the actual removal of the bottom canines.
Am I being ridiculous? Regardless of the outcome, this surgery will take place, for the sake of my kitty's comfort. I'm just looking for a consensus before I go asking the Veterinary Hospital for compensation where it isn't due.
Any advice appreciated.
No, the vet did as you asked. If the teeth are irritating the cats mouth it will only be for a short time. I've had braces in. They only irritate you for a while. I've had other things put in as well, and they only irritate for a while. He'll be fine.

His jaw bone has moved to compensate for the loss of teeth (which are needed for eating) so the vet isn't responsible for anything.
At the time I'm sure the vet examined all the teeth and felt that everything was fine. If your cat needs additional surgery you have the option to not have it done or have it done - AND pay the bill.
