Ok maybe she isnt my cat but it is still a problem. My friend has a cat named prego. Yes you probably guessed it her name is Prego because she is always pregnant. I gave her a spay and neuter coupon to the Arizona Humane Society, but her cat is pregnant, Her mom will not have a spay/abort even though its whats best for the kittens and Prego. She also cant keep the cat indoors because she refuses to use a litter ox. Please help im trying to make a difference and this stupid feline is making it hard. Does anyone in the answers community have a solution?

I have a female cat who was spayed and I got a kitten 2 weeks later, she would have nothing to do with this kitten for 3 days and then she started letting it nurse and she produced milk
so get the cat spayed.
Capture Prego and keep her in a confined space that is easily cleaned, like a laundry room, bathroom, or garage.
Then, take the mama in to be spayed. Be sure to tell the folks at the Humane Society that she just had kittens so that they can tell you the best time to have it done. (You won't want the mama to be away from the kits when they are first born.)
How old is your friend and why does her mom have a say in this? If your friend is under 18, her mom is just the most irresponsible cat owner. This cat needs to be fixed now, pregnant or not. She has contributed way too many kittens in an cat over populated world. Please don't blame the "stupid feline." All the fault lies with the humans that don't take proper care of her.
Definitely get her spayed after she weans her kittens. Many moms start weaning their cats at 6 weeks and they're often done at 8. Prego can get pregnant * as soon as the kittens wean, * so get her done ASAP.

It's her mom's fault, for not spaying her-it's a cat's nature to be pregnant as much as possible. Once she's spayed, she'll probably want to stay inside more . Ask Humane Society when the best time is. I had a cat that wasn't litter box trained and I used a spare bathroom and made a cage out of the tub enclosure . Took about two weeks and never had a problem again. This also is good for the new kittens.
After her next litter, get her spayed.
People being so reckless with animals is why we have problems with overpopulation of animals.
Nice to know you care ...... Your friend doesn't sound too bright .... especially since she should have used the coupon for spay/neuter.....AND....why the heck does the "Mama from Hell" have any say in this situation ..

Her attitude??? Don't Spay/Neuter....Don 't let the cat inside ... This is November,,, Where do they live??? This is cruelty beyond belief ..... This cat should be taken to the Humane Society .... Better than the fate that awaits this cat and anymore kittens it produces .......

I have 2 rescue cats .... They really suffered before they came to live with me ..... They cost me big $ $ for shots, neutering and spaying, but were worth every penny ..... No one should own a pet, it they can't treat them like they would their own child .... Sorry ........ just makes me sick to hear this ... Do what is right for this cat ... ..
