Ive had my cat since the day she was born.
When she was 5-6 weeks old she was put on kitten formula until she was 1 yr then she took intrest in my milk that i was drinking.
I have had two cats before her and i only gave them cats milk. But my youngest turns her nose up at it.
Lu's never ill, shes a very big build (9lbs) and when i take her to get her injections the vets always say she is very strong, healthy and in exenlent condition.
I give her a saucer of milk everynight with her dinner and she loves it. Shes now 27 months old.
Should i trust my gut instinct that nothings wrong? That my cats fine and always has been with milk? Could she one of the very few thats not lactose intolerant? She shows no symptoms?

Two of my cats drink a tiny bit of milk occasionally as a treat and they have no problems. I wouldn't try it with most of the others, just from knowing the odds of a cat being lactose intolerant and because some of them seem to have more delicate tummies anyway.

Just like with people some cats are lactose intolerant and some aren't. It seems like many cats are intolerant, so that's why people warn not to give them cow milk. But for a cat that clearly has no problem reaction to it, that doesn't apply.

Sounds like she is one of the rare cats that is not lactose intolerant.
So, as it's doing her no harm.

I'd say it's fine as long as she's not having any symptoms, upset belly, odd stools, and your vet has no concern and says she's healthy.
You shouldn't give cats cows milk. They should only have water after they are weaned.
let me answer your question with another question ... why do some people have problems with milk and others don't?
I wouldn't worry about it, I feed my cats all kinds of junk and they are alive and well. They are outside cats though.
