hiya .. im just wondering my new kitten growls .. but it sounds really weird .. like hes farting or smt lol
he has no expression on his face when doing it but i noticed he does it for long periods of time .. and sometimes starts doing it when i go near him and pat him and stuff ... does this mean he loves me? lol i kno its wishful thinking .. but if not .. wot does it mean? why does he growl ... is it even growling?/

Are you sure it's not a weird purr? Since he's new maybe it's just an unsure sound. He probably doesn't trust you yet and is trying to let you know that he's giving you a chance and don't mess it up or else he won't trust you later haha. I rescued a dog that growls for no reason, but if he keeps growling, he'll get mad, dogs are way different then cats but once I showed him that I wasn't afraid of him he stopped growling. My point is that when he is comfortable with you and his new surroundings he'll most likely stop.
