im so sad because she has been out since yesterday and i have been looking for her but couldnt find her and shes way into her pregnancy is it possible shes dead or gave birth im so upsett: '(and shes only 2 years old
Possible. Most animals prefer to give birth in a place they feel secure, a place the puppies/kittens will be safe. If the kittens are outdoors, its likely they could be in danger, and the mother will not leave them to feed herself and could possibly waste away.
How many weeks ago did she get pregnant? Did she show signs of labor before she left? (Crying, anxiety, nesting) You should put some posters around, saying if they see the cat to contact u immediately as she is heavily pregnant and possibly given birth.
Call local pounds, pet shops and veterinary clinics. Often if people see a cat with a newborn litter, they will take it to one of these in the best interest of the kittens.

Set some food out for her in a sheltered place. Watch to see if she comes to eat. Unlike what the other person said, she will NOT want you to follow her when she leaves to go back to her kittens! You will have to HIDE and watch. DON "T LET her see you when she starts to leave. Some mamas will lie around for awhile, near their food & water (after they eat) UNTIL THEY FEEL SAFE to go back to the kittens. She wouldn't have had them in a "secluded" place, if she wanted anyone to be able to find them!!

If you see her .... don't let her see you ........ If she sees you, she will NOT lead you to them ..... and she might stay away from them too long. .... Good luck.
Get her inside and keep her inside. If there are kittens, get them too. Do NOT let her outside again until she is spayed (when the kits are 8 weeks old). She was lucky this time!
se may be on your property somwhere ... itll be safe ... lots of cats do this ..... when she comes back? she will want u to follow her to the den ... and show u. ..
