i dont know why but when ever i pick him up he wont lt me hold him anymore and both my cats wont stop sucking on my skin and blankets and there like 9 months old there rely big too please help!!!
I have a 2 year old that sometimes sucks on blankets and pillows still. She also licks my face all the time, or my arm.
They're just imitating what they did with mama cat when trying to get milk.
Even my oldest guy (15 in February) will "make bisquits" on occasion into a pillow or cat bed (I have pillows on the floor for my radial hypoplasia guy so he has a soft, safe landing when he jumps from the bed or anywhere high.
I would no worry about this. One of my cats I got as a kitten - all 2 lbs. Of him - he used to HAVE to be held, and now he really doesn't like being held at all and fights to get out of my arms after a minute or so. (He's a big baby! lol).
I would not worry about any of this unless your cat is sucking on something dangerous or poisonous. It's "the cat's way of being".
When they grow up there teeth can hurt. And sucking on your skin? Then want there mommas milk! they think your there mom. get some milk in the bottle and let him drink some. it will make him feel better
