today i noticed that one of the wild cats living near my house which i feed almost everyday has developed an eye infection in one of her eyes, i want to help her but cant afford taking her to the vet (i already have 2 cats of my own).
does anybody know what i can do?
ok first you have to make friends with the cat so you can get ahold of her because if u cant catch her then u rely cant do anything but if u can get her make some room tempature salt water and put a few drops in her eye but be careful cuz she might not like it because u will have to hold her down make sure you wipe off any eye burgers or it wont work as good and then if u want put some neosporen around her eye and on her eye lids it will help get rid if it faster both of my big cats had it and my lillte one is starting to get it and if u need anything else please mail me
call animal control they'll take her to the vet and take care of her and get her adopted next time you see her make sure you have there number so you can call them to pick her up and you can ask them to call you to see how shes doing but feed her everyday of course so she can trust you holding her
honestly only thing you can do is take the cat to a vet. if you dont it can get worse. you can go to pet stores and get eye meds but you cant get anything strong enough to fit it in a good amount of time.
If the cat will not allow you to touch it, not much you can do.
