Why is my cat ignoring me?

I call her name and she just meows at me and puts her head on the ground. She looks sad. Anyone have any answers?
If this is the only "different" behavior she's exhibiting then continue to wait, watch her the next day or two and see if she'll sit in your lap if you pick her up (if that's what she usually likes to do).

What would be immediately concerning is if she stopped eating, cried incessantly as if in pain or her bathroom habits changed (not going, poop looks different). I'm assuming she's fixed so can't be pregnant. My guess is that she's feeling sad and lonely --- like mine is feeling at this very moment because I'm typing this response and she wants to sit in my lap but I can't type like that because she jumps on the keyboard. She thinks the screen cursor is a "fly" and tries to catch it:) Her name is Cleo, she's black with fine silver hairs, about 9 months old and she runs sideways. She's a nut!

BOTTOM LINE: cats can be mysterious ... but they develop habits and anything out of the norm bears watching.
My first response is, "That is what cats do." After some more thought I realized that this is probably not your cats normal behavior. Felines exibit a great amount of independance. I wonder if there is another pet (or person, or activity) that you are paying more attention to lately? Have you changed the cats diet or has anything about her activity changed? Is it possible that she is pregnant? Is she showing any other behavior that is not "normal" for her? If this persists, a trip to the vet might be in order. Good Luck!
Your cat probably isn 't getting the correct attention. Have you fed her to much, or even fed her any time lately. You might have bothered her, she might be in pain. My suggestion is to go see a vet ... pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

I hope it gets better soon.

Don't worry.
Take off your cloths and show your **** to your cat. See if he ignores you then.
She knows what you did last summer.
Maybe he does feel good call the vent
