My kitten is sick: (?

Shes puking and having bad stool (Poop: in other words)

Shes been sleeping alot and been laying by the heater.

She 2 to 3 months old

What could be wrong even my oldest cat (her mother) is freaking about her.
Your kitten is SICK. If her poop is runny AND stinky, she probably has an intestinal parasite. Kittens get these quite often ..... ... one is called Coccidia. Your kitten should have a fecal test and the vet will be able to tell if she has this parasite or another one ...... These can be treated easily, but they take a special medication. ...... that you can NOT get at a grocery store. It MUST come from the vet.

If she hasn't yet started on her series of vaccinations, it's PAST TIME for those. They should be started around 9 weeks ....... so, take her to the vet, have a fecal test run, and start her vaccinations. Even if her mom is current on her vaccinations, the kitten will have "used up" any immunization that she got from her mom ...... and needs to start building up her own ....... (with vaccinations )....

As for the vomiting ....... her tummy may not like whatever you're feeding her. She NEEDS to be eating KITTEN FOOD ....... made especially FOR KITTENS ........ until she's at least ONE YEAR old. This can be KITTEN MEAT and/or DRY KITTEN FOOD. If you want to feed both ....... give some meat for breakfast & dinner, and leave the dry KITTEN FOOD out, in a dish, ALL the time, so she can "nibble" when she's hungry.

If she's sleeping more than usual (kittens play hard for awhile and sleep the rest of the time), she may not be getting enough food. If you're feeding her on a "schedule", that could be her problem. When kittens don't get food several times a day, they get low blood sugar (sort of like when YOU have a "sinking spell" in the middle of the afternoon and want a snack )..... so ... if they don't have anything to "nibble" on, they "crash "...... and if it's cold where you live, she may want to be by the heater because of not enough food to keep her belly full.

Also, you don't say what breed (or mix) she is. Some breeds like to be near a heat source a LOT. My Siamese like to lay UNDER covers, or under LAMPLIGHT ....... for the warmth. .... even in the summer if the A/C is on. So, depending on her genetic makeup, she MAY just LIKE the heater, and sleeps more comfortably by it.

So .... my advice ....... a visit to the vet for a good checkup (fecal & vaccs), any treatment prescribed by the vet, and KITTEN FOOD (always available)!

Hope this helps ......... Good luck ........ ENJOY your kitten & hope she feels better SOON .......
Poor Baby! Is she nursing from mom ? If the competition for mom's milk/nursing is present, I would suggest putting mom and baby in low lit room together in the hope baby nurses well. Dehydration is a real bad thing for cats, especially babies as this can cause more issues like UTI (urinary tract infection) and dehydration can cause nausea. I would also look at stools and voids/vomit to see it's contents. It sounds like you may want to call a vet. There is always the possibility mom has ingested something that is affecting baby .

Very young kittens can be fragile the time frame you get solid professional help could make a huge difference.

I do hope all works out well!
Is she having diarrhea or blood in her stool? Is she puking constantly? Is she long haired? Long hair cats tend to vomit up hairballs due to their long hair. You can get a food for that. One is made by Science Diet another is made by IMAS you can get it at PetSmart. It targets hairballs I believe it is called "hairball formula or remedy" it will help her if she is long haired. Have you made any changes to her diet? If so that could cause "bad stool". You need to introduce new food to her slowly if you did make changes to her diet. Cats generally do sleep ALOT.
She needs to go to the vet asap. Kittens are very fragile and dehydrate easily. She may just have some parasites that are causing the GI upset and will need meds to get rid of them. You didn't say if she has been vaccinated or not ... if not that is concerning because she may have feline distemper (panleukopenia) which to a small kitten can be deadly (its like parvo for cats). Either way the kitten needs medical attention right away-she will probably need fluid replacement and some meds to stop the vomiting and diarrhea.
She might have eaten something bad to make her vomit and have diarrhea. She needs to be taken to the vets now, could be poisoning. If treated right away, they could pump her stomach and give her medicine. Don 't delay, it could save her life if you go now.
take her to the vet cause they could give her a check up and see whats wrong with her and if she has any problems they'll give you medication for her
hm ...
