is this true? i hard after one year they stop growing, but if its a male tom cat his shoulders will grow and face will get bigger. I want a rally big cat and i was going to get him nuetured this weekend, but if i do im afraid he'll stop growing. he's 6 months old and weighs 9 pounds. He's a orange tabby cat, do tabbies boy cats usually get large?
First of all get him neutered. GENETICS determine the adult size - not when you neuter. If he is 6 months old and weighs that much now (and is not overweight) he will be a big boy.
The only thing delaying neutering will do is give the cat more of the larger breeding male head - it won't affect how tall or long the cat is. My Oci kittens were neutered at 3 and 5 months old and grew to normal adult size and look like males.
Color or color patterns have nothing to do with size, tho red tabbies do tend to be a little bigger then their other color brothers - not always tho.
No this is not true.
I suggest getting the male cat neutered. This will stop him spraying around the house.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com It also decreases his aggression, although this differs from cat to cat as each cat has their own unique personality.
Depending on whether or not your cat is an indoor or outdoor it stops the spread of unwanted/unneeded kittens, it demotes 'roaming' and possessive/dominating male behavior so it will be less likely to fight other cats
Not true at all . And what if it were? You MUST get the cat neutered. It is absolutely essential, it is the responsible thing all pet owners must do.
