how do i get my kitten to be more snuggily?

Every cat is different. Some are more snuggly than others. One way to encourage this behavior is during nap/sleepying time. I have found my kitties are partial to my robe for some reason. They just love to sponge it and cuddle up in it . I discovered this when it was laying on my bed. If you find your kitty likes a particular type of material, or item of clothing as he becomes sleepy you can help him notice you have his favorite bedding material on your lap. Even a little cat nip can help, but generally this will just wake him up so he wants to play rather than sleep.

As others have said, cats mellow as they age. I have talked to so many people who are ready to give up their kitty because it is so wild, wanting to scratch everything, run about the house and tear things up, including the owner. this is typical of a young cat and especially one that's bored! BE sure kitty has plenty of toys to play with and a playmate is never a bad idea. Give him time, he will grow up. I have six kitties and have found an average age for them to become all day sleepers is about 4-5 yrs old. Seems like a long time but they are all different. they will also adapt to YOUR schedule with time. I am home all day but mine inevitably take a nap daily at 4 pm like clockwork. Good luck, hope that helps some, Cat
Depends on the cat but they do mellow out a bit the older they get. I got two kittens about a year ago. One was a super mellow kitten that played a little and now she's our snuggle cat and doesn't play very much. The other cat as a kitten was bouncing off the walls. Now she's still wild and crazy but not as much. We actually have to pick her up and sort of make her do a little snuggling at certain times. Otherwise she becomes super wild.
You don't. Some cats are snuggly, some cats are not, and as kittens most are crazy little balls of energy that don't settle down until they're around a year old. Give your kitten some space and give her time to show you how she likes to express her affection:)
give it space, show it affection when it is open to it. also, keep in mind cats have different personalities so if its a standoffish cat it probably wont become very snuggily no matter what you do
I'm guessing that no one told you that the cat is in control?

Some cat are snuggily but most are not. They are very independent and do mostly what they want.
When your cat comes to you, give it love (: but don't force him to stay, or he won't want to come back. When it wants to go, let him go (: good luck!
give him time to get to know u and he will
