my sick cat wont eat and peed in a random spot?

So i took my 2yr cat to the vet today and he said she has a cold and gave me antibiotics. But she hasnt ate a thing today. I dont even think she drank water. Im pretty sure she didnt eat yesterday either. Now, she peed next to a door when her litter box is down the hallway. She NEVER pees anywhere else other then her litter box. when will she eat and how long can she go like this not eating?! Also should I try forcefeeding her with soft liquidy foods? please help
Losing her appetite can be a symptom of her cat-flu.

Try to tempt her with warmed up canned food, this will smell nicer to her and maybe make her eat ... Drinking is probably more important, if she hasnt drank in 2 days or more thats bad, but the vet would have checked her hydration and hopefully said that other than her cold shes ok.

Cats will sometimes pee in unusual spots when theyre sick, as long as theres no blood in it and shes not straining to pee, see how she goes on the antibiotics for a cpl of days, then if shes still funny take her for a re- visit to the vet. But if youre worried, why not just call the clinic, as they wont mind you asking.
try and feed her a tiny bit of food like wet meats but chop it up very tiny. hold a tiny bit with you fingers and open her mouth and close her mouth shut until she swallows. repeat.

this happened to my cat to! it lost his appetite from a cold so we were told to hand feed like this and to try to get some fluids into him.

hope this helps. if not, the vet should have enough check. antibiotics should improve the situation so make sure she always has them at the right times so she gets well soon <3
My cat didn't eat for several days after she was spayed.

Finally I bought a baby feeding bottle - you can get them at pet shops and other places for about 2 bucks and I fed her milk. I had to force the milk into her mouth at first but she started eating and got her appetite back soon after . She needs the hydration.

Please do not try to force feed any kind of solids.
NO you should NOT force feed her without consulting your vet first. Also, if you have never been shown how to do this please have the vet show you how. It sounds easy but it's very easy to force food into the lungs & then she'll really have problems.

Try offering her super appetizing things. Offer some low sodium chicken broth but keep fresh water available to her, too. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Dry food is harder to digest than canned food so offer some good quality canned food. Although cats should not eat baby food on a regular basis, when they're truly sick the rules can be bent a little so you can try some all meat baby food or try the water that tuna comes packed in. Warm it slightly so the smell is stronger.

If she eats this add a little water to it to increase her fluid intake but don't worry about the fluids too much as long as she's eating some canned food or lapping at something.

I would suggest making her a cozy spot in a small, quiet, draft free area. Put her food, water, etc. & Her litterbox in a bathroom, small bedroom or similar spot till she feels better so she can relax but still get to the box in a hurry. A large dog cage would be fine, too. If it's an open, wire type cage it would be a good idea to cover it on three sides with a sheet or blanket.

Sometimes antibiotics can cause stomach upset but it could well be the cold that's causing the problems for her. Give the meds 48 hrs. To kick in. If she seems no better by then you should contact the vet.

If she starts vomiting at any time stop giving the med, remove her food & contact your vet right away.

Best wishes to you both!
