My cat has diabetes and AFTER administering his shot i was r

My finger is now sore to the touch. Should I be worried?
It's only the same amount of risk as if you'd pricked yourself with a sewing needle. You can't get a blood-borne disease from your cat, and you won't have gotten anywhere near enough insulin to have any effect. Just clean it off and watch it for infection.:)
Concerned, not worried.

This is how to cap a syringe,

place the cap softly on the needle, no pressing, just set it on,

hold the cap and turn syringe over, needle down,

press onto counter top. You probably stuck yourself less than 1/8 "

TYPE I diabetic for 38 years, cat owner for 25. My cat does not have diabetes.
The most serious cat illnesses (cat herpes, cat aids, cat lukemia, etc) are not contageous to humans, and even the common cold is thought to be different in cats then a human cold. Unless your cat had ecoli, or samenilla or some other type of harmful bateria on his skin/coat where the injection was, the risk is very small you will catch anything dangerous. Clean it with alcohol and you'll be fine.
No. you do not need to be worried-You just poked yourself hard with that needle. It's not like your cat has rabies, right? pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Just wash your finger with soap and water and use some antiseptic like Bactine.
