How old do Kittens have to b to conceive?
I want to spay and neuter my kittens which are about 4 months.
I dont want to do it so early, so I want to delay it as much as possible?

They can conceive at around 4-5 months old, so now is just the right time to go about getting them done, i have fostered hundreds of cats many pregnant we had one who was just coming up to 5 months old when she came to us pregnant,
pregnancy is risky at any time but when that young it is a higher risk, so make an appointment with your vet so they can examine and make arrangements about getting them done, at 4 months old it is an ideal age to be spayed,
males can be capable at around 4-5 months old, but neutering a male is at times left until they are 6 months old, as doing them sooner risks it affecting their growth hormones, so get female done first then male later,
but keep him in to prevent straying, but ask your vet about it too to be sure when its the best time for him to be done, all vets have different opinions on this.
Well I can tell you this - I adopted my cat from the SPCA and she was 14 months old. They informed me that when she was brought into the shelter, she was pregnant and delivered a litter of kittens. I was surprised considering as how she was only about a year old! So I asked how recently she had delivered, and they told me she was 5 months old when she was brought in, already pregnant.

MALES and FEMALES can reproduce as young as four months. I would get the male fixed now, as all of the organs are outside the body, so it's a simpler procedure. If you want to wait until the girl is six months, that would be fine as long as you keep her inside.
Also, males can impregnate females for about a week after they are neutered, so keep that in mind.
