My cat peed blood i don't know what to do?
My cat has been fixed and has had all her shots and stuff but my husband witnessed her peeing on our bed (which is something she doesn't usually do) and there's blood in it. I don't really have time or money to take her to the vet though i will if i absolutely have to but i was wondering if someone knew what it might be?
answer:
i would say its a urinary tract infection. she will continue to pee on random things till it gets fixed. not that she means to, but she cant help it.
Blood in urine can be caused by different things. Some of these conditions are fatal. The most common cause of bleeding is a urinary tract infection, a potentially fatal condition. If the cat is behaving oddly it points to an infection because the cat could be in pain. Such infections are sometimes caused by kidney stones. Kidney stones can be treated by surgery or by specialized diets that change the pH of the urine. Often if a pet has kidney stones it is because they have an imbalanced diet of some kind. Unfortunately, if it is stones you have to figure out what kind of stone it is because different kinds of stones require different kinds of diets or treatment. This diagnosis can be expensive, involving ultrasounds and other tests. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

One thing you can do is increase the amount of water or liquids the cat is drinking. Feed smaller amounts of wet food or even watery food. You want to increase fluid intake.
Your cat has a UTI, urinary tract infection. Although she is not whimpering or crying, she is in a lot of pain. Cats urinate out of the box as they associate the litter box with the pain or urination. A round of antibiotics prescribed by the vet will quickly rid her of the infection. If nothing is done, it will advance to kidney disease and cause eventual death. Take her in ASAP.
Go to the vet, that's nothing to screw with. If your vet has an emergency number, call it NOW. Don't ask those questions on here, its MUCH MUCH to serious! Incontinence and blood in urine? Why are you even second guessing calling the vet? Any veterinarian worth his license will work out a payment plan with you!
It's a urinary tract problem, either an infection, crystals, or a bladder stone. It's very painful, in any case, so I'm afraid you should take her to the vet first thing in the morning. Here are a few links:

Hopefully, a course of antibiotics and a change to a CANNED food should do the trick. If the vet gives you a choice of prescription food, pick canned over dry. Dry food CAUSES problems like this.

Good luck. I hope your kitty will be feeling much better soon!
Sorry, but the best thing that you can do is to take her to a vet. If you can't take the time or money to take her, then give her up to someone who will.
I think you should take it to a vet. I can't tell you what's wrong but even if I could you would most likely end up having to go to a vet anyways.
Urinary tract infection. She needs a trip to the vet and some antibiotics.
