Is there any kind of cat that stays small for ever?
So i want a cat, a kitten to be specific. but i dont want it to grow up being this big giant fat ball. :] So is there any type of cat that stays small for ever!. like kitten small :] i always wondered thanky ou
yes they are called munchkins
No, none stay that small. The only one that comes close is a munchkin, but they aren't really tiny they just have short legs.
no there are muchkin cats but thats about it. Or you could go to a shelter or breeder. if the parents of the cat are small most likly the kitten will grow up small.
I think your looking for a Gerbil.

No - any one advertising as such is ripping you off. The smallest breed is the Singapura cat (4-6 lbs when grown). You really don't want smaller then that. The so called "teacup" kittens or puppies are nothing more then inbred runts with a lot of genetic problems.
They are sold at places like Target, and use batteries.

I am not sure why you think all cats grow up to be fat. Some cats will maintain their weight around 7-8 pounds, and others a bit more or a bit less.
But if you want a cat that stays the size of a tiny kitten, they you really want a genetically defective kitty that has a gene for dwarfism.
At 8-9 months most cats are finished with their growth, although small amounts of additional growth will happen to age one.
The munchkin is bred to have very short legs, but I personally think getting a 'designer' cat like this is cruel. A cat relies on its legs to jump, play, and defend itself; why breed them for a selfish, 'desirable' disability?
If you want a little cat forever, you'll need some genetic luck. We adopted a little gray one from a farm who was about 5 pounds full size! :-)
Or, perhaps you could volunteer as a foster caretaker for kittens?? (My cousins have done this with puppies/dogs in North Carolina; maybe it's possible for cats?)
