I have 2 questions about my cat! plz answer?
hi guys
i want to train my cat to **** outside the house
how to do that
and secondly
can i use baby shampoo to give my cat a bath or are there some special shampoos for the animals
thank you for atleast reading it
answer:
1. This is assuming **** = toilet? I suggest don't place a litter box inside the house but of course if you choose to do that make sure your cat has access to the outdoors all the time. Cat that are not sick don't choose to **** on surfaces where they cannot cover up their scent, so they will naturally go outside and dig up loose dirt in the garden bed. So make sure you have loose soft dirt in the garden bed near the house. I found with my cats, that between an indoor litter box and the garden bed, they prefer the latter anyway. If they do not take to it naturally e.g. they are used to the indoor, put their litter box outside for a while then put the litter in the garden bed where you want the cat to go, and/or after the cat has eaten take him outside and put him on the area where you want him to go.

2. Yes but cat shampoo is not all that more expensive then baby shampoo, from $2-$7 a bottle. But I haven't washed my cat's in over a year now, since they do a great job of cleaning themselves. So unless they are dirty then don't bother. Since after you wash them, they will end up sitting there for an hour putting their saliva all over themselves to get the "icky water" from their fur anyway.
how old is your cat? it is always best to train cats when they are kittens its a lot easier. you should always have the litter tray full never empty and always have the litter tray the same area where you feed your cat. So every time your cat wants to go to the loo he/she will know where it is. Dont keep moving the tray, also studying your cats behaviour helps; knowing when he/she wants to eat as well as wants to go to the loo.

yeh you can use baby shampoo, but dont wash your cat so often only when he/she is REALLY dirty and smelly
Baby shampoo is fine, but why give a bath to your cat?

Cat's don't usually need bathes, as they're typically clean with grooming selves.
I have never given my cats bathes, as they are strictly indoor pets.
Remember, if you must bathe your cat, their body temperature is different than humans, "tepid" water, not hot.
So can't help you with your first question.
well, i would just keep taking it outside often and wen it does something reward it with "good cat!!" and maybe a treat, thats how u housetrain dogs. and just don't let it go inside, it only goes wen it needs 2. and yes u can use baby shampoo but u can get cat shampoo from any petshop
after 3 weeks u ;let your cat go outside it will come back i usually either let my cat stay out for the night or call him he never runs away he loves the food he tends to sleep outside my cat spends usual 12 to 14 hrs of the day outside
